IBNSULEMAN TECH LTD was founded in 2023 by Abubakar Sadiq Suleman — a software engineer and cybersecurity professional who spent two years inside Nigerian secondary schools as a Computer Administrator and ICT Teacher, watching students prepare for JAMB with inadequate tools and watching schools manage examinations with paper systems that failed them.
The company was incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (RC 7059262) and is headquartered in Kano State. What began as a validated demand for technology skills education — Abubakar submitted proposals to multiple Kano schools before writing a single line of code, and received confirmed interest from each — grew into two live platforms: CodingForte and iExam, serving students, schools, and institutions across Nigeria.
The third platform, Gaskiya, extends the company's mission from education into civic accountability. Building Nigeria's digital future, in our view, requires honest public infrastructure — not just tools for learning.
IBNSULEMAN TECH LTD is operations-first. Every product launched has paying users, real partner institutions, or delivered client software. We do not build prototypes and call them products.
Abubakar Sadiq Suleman
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Abubakar Sadiq Suleman is a software engineer, cybersecurity professional, and edtech founder based in Nigeria. He holds a BSc in Cybersecurity and completed his NYSC posting at Nigerian Tulip International College in Kano, where he served as Computer Administrator and ICT Teacher — and where he first identified the problem that CodingForte and iExam were built to solve.
During his time at NTIC, he managed the school's complete computer infrastructure, served as the primary technical support for all staff and students, and prepared students for JAMB computer-based testing. His top student's score of 340 was among the highest recorded in the school's history. That experience taught him what Nigerian students need and what Nigerian schools lack.
As Founder & CEO of IBNSULEMAN TECH LTD, he leads product development, school partnerships, investor relations, and engineering across all platforms. He built CodingForte and iExam end-to-end — from architecture and deployment to marketing strategy and school outreach. He is currently developing Gaskiya and pursuing the CcHUB × Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship 2026.
His technical practice is Python, Django, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and TypeScript. His engineering philosophy is performance-first, offline-capable, and automation-driven.
